Kin User Data Deletion Instructions

How to request deletion

Email privacy@kinfamily.net with the subject line "Please delete my Kin data". Include the email address you used with Kin so we can find the correct waitlist record.

If you have a referral code or waitlist link, include it as well. Do not send sensitive family information in the deletion request.

What happens next

• We manually review deletion requests before changing records.
• We may ask for enough information to verify that the request matches the email address or record you want deleted.
• We aim to respond within 30 days. If a law requires a different timeline, we will use the required timeline.
• We will confirm when the request is complete or explain if a limited retention exception applies.

What we delete

We delete or de-identify waitlist data tied to your email address, including waitlist answers and directly linked referral details where practical. We may keep limited security, legal, backup, or audit records when necessary.

Meta, Facebook, and Instagram requests

If you reached Kin through Meta, Facebook, or Instagram and want Kin to delete data we hold, follow the same email process above. Kin does not currently require Facebook Login for the waitlist, so the email address you used on the waitlist is the best way for us to locate your record.
