Kin Accessibility Statement
Effective date: July 3, 2026
Our commitment
Kin aims to make kinfamily.net usable by people with disabilities and people using assistive technologies. We use WCAG 2.2 AA principles as a practical guide while the product is in early access.
Current accessibility practices
- Keyboard-sized controls and visible focus states.
- Semantic headings, labels, form errors, and link text.
- Alt text for meaningful images and empty alt text for decorative marks.
- Responsive layouts for mobile and desktop visitors.
- Reduced-motion handling for visitors who request it.
Known limits
Kin has not completed a formal third-party accessibility audit. We do not claim that every page fully conforms to WCAG or the ADA. Some issues may remain, especially across older browsers, assistive technology combinations, and future product changes.
Request help or report a barrier
If you have trouble using Kin, email privacy@kinfamily.net with "Accessibility" in the subject line. Include the page, the problem, your browser or assistive technology if you are comfortable sharing it, and the format you need.
We will manually review accessibility reports and aim to respond within 30 days.
